Biography

Sylvie Berthoz is a clinical psychologist who received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University Pierre and Marie Curie, Paris, France, in 2000. She pursued training in affective neuroscience while being a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, UCL, London, U.K. She is a senior researcher at the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research. Her main research interests are the search for intermediate phenotypes of under- or over-controlled behaviors and the transdiagnostic dimensions involved in substance use and disordered eating behaviors.
