Biography

Nehad Metawie joined AUD in April 2024 as the Personal Counselor. She earned her Master of Education degree from AUD in 2015 and later pursued a Master's degree in Psychology, from the University of Leicester. Before embarking on her career as a therapist, she was a dedicated classroom teacher for over 10 years, and worked extensively in the inclusion department, supporting students with diverse needs.

As a counselor, she is committed to empowering individuals as they navigate life's most challenging experiences. With an MSc in Psychology, a CBT certification, and a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, she employs a range of therapeutic modalities.  She specializes in grief counseling, anxiety, depression, and trauma therapy, tailoring her approach to the unique needs of each student.

She deeply believes that true healing begins with a compassionate connection and a safe space where individuals can explore and express their emotions.

In her free time, She enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
